I've heard Maggie noodles are great, but can anyone recommend others? Is there a difference with taste?

My local Chinese Supermarket in Manchester (UK) stocks a huge variety - 90+ brands.

I know they definately have Maggie and Mamee.

Thanks Crystalxisxhere and ycling85's.

My family love Mi Sedap. It's seasoning comes in three packet with dried onion to sprinkle when the mee is ready.

Another delicious brand of Mee goreng is IndoMee. It is also very nice.

Maggie Mee Goreng is not as nice as MiSedap but it also depends on each individual.

Mamee Mee Goreng also is okay.

I haven't tried Cintan yet so I cannot give you my opinion on that.

Generally, you won't lose with MiSedap, IndoMee, Maggie and Mamee brands. Try it so you will know which is the one for you.

Hello being a Malay myself, the best noodle to cook mee goreng is to use yellow chinese noodles. Not the flat ones but the ones that look like spaghetti but yellow and a bit rubbery.Seriously. All u do is just blanch them when u wanna fry them and then goreng! (Fry)

Noodles cook in less than 5 minutes. By 'instant' noodles I think you mean noodles which are already spiced. Try a pot noodle if you're so lazy. I buy fresh noodles from the local Chinese supermarket, and flavour them with chili, ginger, turmeric and anything else I fancy. Ready and on the plate within 5 minutes. No problem.
