Last year I made a bacon(veggie)burger and it was really good and the whole thing tasted like the real thing, but I can't remember what the brand was. Any suggestions? Some of them are just awful. I know it wasn't anything to funky, it was either flame grilled flavor or original.

Boca Burgers & Morningstar Grillers are the Veggie Burgers that imitate the taste of meat. Morningstar (non-grillers) & Gardenburger both have numerous veggie burgers but they general just have a veggie flavor (such as black bean or mushroom) and do not imitate meat.

Hi. I'm not a vegetarian. But since I can't eat chicken(I don't like chicken) I get those Morning Star Farms Chik Patties. And my older sister she eats the Boca Burger Patties. Boca, I think those are pretty good. They have them in Regular, Vegan, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Grilled. But I really love Morning Star. Try both of them out and see which one you like.

I know that Moneys makes a number of tasty variations I love there fire roasted pepper burgers I'm sure thats what they are called but even the original ones are awesome. The best thing to do is to grab a number of different kinds at your local grocery store then try each one until you get a favorite or even a few favorites enjoy.

Lick's type 'Nature burgers' are fairly solid. you ought to purchase them on the eating places and in the food market frozen. I also like pc type portobello & swiss vegetarian burgers. Schneider's Meats (in case you could trust it) now has a veggie line. They make an especially effective vegetarian meat ball that you could make with pasta sauce or make right into a meatball sandwich. get excitement from!

The ones I buy are Boca or Licks. I'm not sure if Licks is ok for vegan, but Boca is. Licks might not be available where you are because it's a fast food chain in Ontario, Canada, but their burgers are sold in the grocery stores in some places.

I like the Morningstar Farms brand vegan burgers. They don't taste exactly like meat, but they have a good flavor, and are low in calories and fat. yum. =) If you put one on a whole wheat bun with some lettuce, tomato, and onion, it's great!

MorningStar Farms is good for other fake meat products: "chicken" nuggets and such, but Boca burgers are better, in my opinion.

"Dr Praeger's." But they might not be what you're looking for; I've never tasted the real thing, but I'm sure those ones are entirely unrelated. Vegetables in patty form, really.
