Not to seem blunt or anything, you said you were assaulted a year ago.. and you were with your boyfriend then... you guys have been together for at least a year right? One, he must of had had it for a while now, chlamydia is curable but in order to get rid of it without complications you need to catch it in the beginning. As soon as you found out you should have told him. If you guys have been together for a year and are sleeping together, you have a responsibility to each other... YOU NEED to tell him. If you tell him the situation, he should understand, if not he is not Worth keeping.

You do realize that Chlamydia is curable, right? So, I am not sure why you have had it for a year......You both need to get checkups and get on meds, if you test positive for it. Although it is hard and difficult, you have to tell your BF what is going on. It is not fair to him for you to keep this information. If he cares for you, everything will work out. If he leaves, so what! You can and will move on with your life. If you were able to survive sexual assault, you can get over a breakup.

First you need to get a pap to see how severe the std is..After your Dr receives the results & prescribes you she will also give you a prescription for your bf..It will be hard to tell your bf but the truth in this case is better than him not knowing at all..Tell him your sorry & scared but that if you & if take the prescription as taken it should cure the STD..goodluck

Tell him in front of someone that supports you.Your Dr,could help maybe. He will be tested,right?..Sister,cousin? Just get it over with,it will eat you inside and cause all kinds of stress, and you watch,it will come out in aches and pains..good luck
The longer you don't come clean about the incident, that was not your fault, the harder it will be. You did not know, you did not do it to him on purpose, like could have been done to you.

The medication is Zythromax. But I think you AND your boyfriend need to see a doctor and maybe a therapist. If he is aware that you were attacked, he could be VERY understanding and forgiving. Honest is the best policy, in most cases. But sometimes you need to give the truth in small dosis.

You need to find a way to tell him. This is a serious disease and he deserves treatment. I think he'd be more likely to leave if he finds out you are hiding this.
Plus if you don't tell him he will give it back to you, so if you can't do it for him then do it for you

tell him straight up. i feel bad for you but you need to tell him. just because you were assaulted doesnt make it right to infect your boyfriend and not tell him.
