Bragg Liquid Aminos is a vegan product made from water and soybeans. It tastes like a very mild soy sauce.

I love Bragg's Liquid Aminos and have been using it for years. My husband likes the taste better than soy sauce and it is similar enough that I use it as a substitute. I also use it in recipes that call for Worchestershire sauce. Sodium content of typical soy sauce is 343 mg per teaspoon. Bragg's is still high at 220 mg per teaspoon, but an improvement. And there is no carmel color or sodium benzoate. No wheat, for those who might be allergic. Keeps for a year in the cabinet without refrigeration. Bragg's seasoning is good in scrambled eggs (1 teaspoon per 3 eggs and add no salt). I put a teaspoon on stir fry while at the steaming stage. Add to soups instead of boullion, especially if serving vegetarians. Gives color and flavor to rice dishes and tofu. I just use it in any place where moisture and salt are desired.
