Of course to transmit a disease does no require direct physical contact, nor do they have to know who gave them the gift, or the flowers or who was in their house while they were at work.

I've told all exes and made sure I told my husband before he ever asked me to marry him. We are now at year # 5.

It is your duty to tell your partners, family, friends, & roomates (especially if you share a bathroom or kitchen with them). The people who do not, are the reason that the many STD's have been so wildly spread.

I would tell them becuase if they spread it and then find out that they are the one who spread it they will be calling you to check whether you have it or not. Would you like it if someone gave you a disease and never told you they had it?

Of course! It was bad enough that you did it with her without protection. It is worse if you do not even tell her so that she can have it treated. She may get angry with you at first but at least, she would know what to do, rather than leave her in limbo.
