I have the REAL answer to that question. A vegan is someone who doesn't eat any type of product from an animal. A vegetarian just doesn't eat meat. I hope that helped

Vegetarians don't eat meat. Vegans don't eat meat or any animal products.

Yes, a vegan is a vegetarian, plus some.
A vegetarian won't eat meat (there's more sub groups, lacto-ovo, etc.)
A vegan will not eat or use any animal or animal by products (milk, leather, glue using hooves, etc.)

vegans are stricter vegatarians. I didn't know this until I had a vegan cookie. Wow that was dry. That don't eat butter or use milk or eggs. Nothing to do with animals or what they produce.
