Are they available in supermarkets? Has Bernard Matthews thought of breeding them in prisons? Or should that be Barnard?

In ancient time and up to the middle ages, swans, geese and other larger birds were consumed, like North American game birds, wild fowl needs a careful bit of cooking, not high heat nor is it to be overdone, but the restaurants in France like here now purchase farm raised or speciaty breed like salmon farm's for fish.

In Japan they do consume what is refered to a small bird similar to sparrow and in Vietnam they also eat a small song bird, but the European taste has changed over the centurys.
