No. There are specific meds that are used for neuropathies, and they aren't what you would normally think of as pain meds.

See a neurologist about this problem, as you need to find out the reason for your neuropathies and you need prescription meds to deal with them.

If this has been a problem for more than 6 months, then your pain is classified as chronic. In that case, any of your doctors can refer you to a pain clinic, where the staff has many more management tools at their disposal than do most other doctors.

There are specific pain medications geared toward neuropathy like Neurontin and Lyrica. You should speak with your family doctor and see if they think one of these might be appropriate for you.

My wife has to take Neurotin for her neuropathy pain.....I doubt Tylenol will even mute it a even a little

It may work for a short time, but for extended relief there are many Rx meds that will help. Lyrica and Neurontin were already mentioned, but I used one called Trileptal for many years for another type of nerve pain, with great success.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled not knowing I was pregnant, and found out four days later that I was. My doctor told me to take Extra Strength Tylenol but not excessively. good luck
