Firstly you need to know what is causing the degree of hypertension before embarking on any self treatment.
If it is stress related, then removing ones self from the stress is the remedy. Overweight, kidney disease, cardiac liver panceatic or circulatory problems need proper investigation and treatment regimes that don't lead to organ damage as a result of self traetment or ignoring the true causes of the blood pressure neing elevated. Even some drugs ( illegal or legal), smoking alcohol can give rise to increased blood pressure.

One, if it is really high, you need to use the medication to make sure you don't stroke out. Then begin to bring it down by exercising, especially walking is good, couple miles per day. Then cut back on eating pre-packed foods, they are always high in sodium. Learn to cook from scratch. Don't add salt to foods, try other seasonings. Many people who drink even one pop per day, if they'll stop drinking pop all together their blood pressure will return to normal. Any stimulants, even caffeine need to be stopped, as they all elevate the blood pressure.
Cutting back on quick snacks and fast foods, which are also all high in sodium.

I think you mean without taking any medicines. You have to remove the root cause of your blood pressure. If you control your intake of food and alcohol, if you take enough exercise, and if you lead a stress free life, you should be able to achieve your goal. None of these things is very difficult to do. But it dakes determination and persistence. Good luck.

Meditation, yoga, and eating oat meal (to keep the cholesterol at bay so the blood vessels stay open). Losing weight can help to I'm told. Odd thing is I am way over weight and my BP is usually right on the 'good' side. But then I do tend to do the deep breathing and the meditation thing.

The best way is to reduce salt in your diet. Additional benefit: the less salt you eat, the fewer the chances of getting heart disease and stroke.

It depends on how high it is. Chamomile tea and good multivitamins before you sleep at night.
