High blood pressure or hypertension is a condition in which the pressure of blood increases beyond the normal range. In other words, hypertension is considered to be that stage when the blood pressure reading is 140/90 mmHg or higher.

Hypertension, generally, does not exhibit any particular set of symptoms. That is why, it is considered to be one of the most dangerous health conditions. This condition could afflict your body for years without your knowledge. In fact, nearly 1/3rd of the people, who have hypertension, are unaware of it.

Here I have compiled a list of commonly observed symptoms among the high blood pressure patients. If you find set of these symptoms, be careful. As these symptoms in the unison are the clear indicatives of the development of the high blood pressure:

-Drowsiness
-Confusion
-Headache
-Nausea
-Loss of vision
-Papilloedema
-Tinnitus
-Fatigue or confusion
-Vision problems
-Chest pain
-Difficulty in breathing
-Irregular heartbeats
-Blood in the urine

If you are affected by any of the above mentioned symptoms, you need to consult your physician immediately. Chronic hypertension can cause strokes, heart diseases, kidney failure and even problems related to the eye. If hypertension is not diagnosed and treated on time, it can prove to be lethal for your health.

Idon't know what you said earlier, but if you know for a fact that you have high blood pressure, your symptoms could very well stem from it. Try these to help lower your blood pressure:
- Ease up on your salt intake.
- Lose any excess weight you might have.
- Cut back on coffee.
- Light exercise, for starters.
- Change unhealthy eating habits (i.e. too much greasy food, trans-fats, saturated fats).
- Drink plenty of water.

About the headache: that could be due to lots of reasons. But if it has anything to do with your blood pressure, it's a warning sign that you either need to change your lifestyle habits or go on antihypertensive medication, or both. Make sure to drink enough fluids during the day, because headache is sometimes caused by reduced fluid intake.

High blood pressure is often called the silent killer, it does not give symptoms until it is at a dangerous level. Your symptoms are more than likely caused by the excess cokes. Either start drinking caffeine free or change your drink to a non caffeine drink. It wouldnt hurt to get your blood pressure checked, just to make sure its not high.

These could possibly be signs of elevated blood pressure. You may want to go to a drug store or Wal-Mart and have your pressure taken on one of the blood pressure cuff chairs. If unavailable, get a blood pressure cuff; they are not that hard to operate. Better yet, visit your doctor, or have someone who is medically trained to take your blood pressure reading. Headaches, ringing in the ears, fatigue, shortness of breath, and dizziness are all symptoms of hypertension. If possible, I would take two aspirin, and rest. You could also be dehydrated. Dehydration can also cause ringing in the ears, and, most notably, headaches. Hate to "diagnose" your symptoms, but either your blood pressure is elevated, or you are dehydrated. Take care.

Well it certainly is possible, however it could be so many things that I can not say. What I will sugggest is something very simple---make an appointment with your doctor. It's really the only way you will know for sure and it will give you peace of mind. Soooooooooo don't put it off, just do it! You'll be glad you did.
