I had the same thing happen to me for months and I went to a ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctor. He told me to use a humidifier when I sleep. I had a hard time believing him but I went to Walmart and got one fairly cheap. I use it every night now. It did take about 4 days for it to heal but it worked wonders for me. You might want to try a humidifier, it needs to be for a whole room. I only use distilled water in it which makes it a lot easier to clean. But you can use tap water if cost is an issue. Try it, hope it helps. If not, you may need to be evaluated by a doctor.

That doesnt sound normal, so you should see a nose, ear, throat specialist. The simplest advice I can give you; my boyfriend had that happen to him a few times but he has really bad allergies and was constantly blowing his nose. Sometime he'd notice blood (dry or wet) when he blew it. When he was younger he had to have his sinuses cauterized so if your symptoms progress you might be looking at that. He said it was painful but helped for a few years. I dont know if you have allergies or maybe the air quality where you are is bad, but bloody noses are never a good sign, so please do look into getting it checked out. Take care!

The air in your room could be too cold, dry and/or dusty, causing the lining of your nasal passages to be irritated and thin leading to bleeding. High blood pressure is also a cause of nosebleeds, so may be a good idea to have it checked out by an ENT.
Using a humidifier or changing rooms might help.

Join the club. Yup, I agree with dry air cuz it happens to me too. Humidifier is a good answer, also, use a Q tip and a little vaseline up the nose goes a long way.

It could be that your nose dry out during the night. When you go to bed put a little vasaline in your nose and see if that helps.

Humidity is the answer; but, if you have any cedar in your home esp. a storage trunk or closet that is fresh; that can cause it too--bad !!
I'm highly allergic and this happened to me.
On humidifiers, at WalMart, Holmes is the quietest.
