Your blood pressure is pretty low. The normal blood pressure range is from about 115/70-120/80. Anything lower than that is considered hypotension (low blood pressure basically). If blood pressure is higher than 120/80, but lower than 140/90 is considered pre-hypertension (pre-high blood pressure). 140/90 and above is considered hypertension (high blood pressure). The pulse of 60 is semi-normal for an active male. For a female, it is somewhat low.

Now that I have stated the basics, I will go on to a more detailed answer:

Yes, I said above, your blood pressure is much lower than it should be. (Of course, high is much worse.) Very low in fact, in my oppinion. You did not, however say how many times you have taken it, and what it has been during those times, so I cannot tell if there is really a problem that you should have looked at. If your blood pressure is consistently this low, then there could be a slight problem, especially if you are having dizziness. Sometimes (I believe, at least) thyroid problems, such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis can cause low blood pressure. Ulcers can also cause low blood pressure, especially if they are bleeding. However, the most common cause of low blood pressure is dehydration. If you were very thirsty at the time, or having diarrhea, that might have been why your blood pressure was low. If you are truly concerned, I would suggest purchasing a home blood pressure monitor---omron is a good brand----and taking your blood pressure daily (Morning, mid day, night). Also, consider taking it before and after exertion (after hard exercise, blood pressure should be about 140/90-150/90 I believe). If it remains low, or actually becomes too high I would suggest seeing a doctor.

Good luck,

Your blood pressure is a little low but if the doc is not worried then it is fine. I used to run a blood pressure just slightly higher than that and was fine. Be sure your doc is aware of your low BP though.

That sounds way too low. But then again, I don't know your age. So I can't judge right. With that blood pressure being that low, you would feel light headed, dizzy, or have fainting spells. What does your doctor say?

It's a little low. Do you get light headed when you stand up too fast or get cold easily?
