Not taking your anti-anxiety meds will cause anxiety which in turn will affect your BP.Take the meds and relax.
Good health and good luck.

Anxiety can raise blood pressure. Relief of anxiety can contribute to lower blood pressure. So my answer to the question is yes, but also take this up with your compassionate cardiologist. Reassurance goes a long way to allay anxiety, so a good understanding of why you feel the way you do is good and your doctor can help you.

I believe that it is possible. If I miss my anxiety med and I have a panic attack, my blood pressure rises. I think that the two coincide with each other. When I "Panic" my heart rate goes up therefore, my blood pressure goes up. See what I mean?
So, I believe your question is your answer.

No problem James,
Just relax, if your experiencing anxiety state take a relaxant, and see your cardiologist tomorrow.
What's the big deal in worrying? after all we are humans too.
