ok .. i know aids and stds are transmitted from bodily fluids.. but if you have contact with a male that hasn't an erection... can you still catch it?

The virus needs to actually enter the body so a fleeting touch is unlikely to cause infection.

The only way to totally reassure yourself is to have the test. (It needs to be repeated more than once).

You could go to your GP but there is one risk here. He is obliged to enter details of your test into your permanent record. Even if it is negative if you seek life or health insurance he is bound to notify the insurance company of the test and this may affect premiums.

If however you self refer to a GU/STD/Special clinic they will not even pass the result to your GP without your permission and I think this is the most secure course of action.

You could but it is unlikely. The transmission of body fluids doesn't have to have anything to do with an erection. Check out http://www.avert.org/ or http://www.avert.org/young.htm for more information than you could ever need!

chances are slim its actually quite hard to catch HIV. That said you should still be careful and use condoms and your question is also a bit vague, what type of contact are we talking about here
