High blood pessure is called "the silent killer.: This is becuse it causes damage to body tissus before you know it is happening. I recently had a 36 year old female come into the hosital unconsious, Turns out she felt she didn't need her BP meds anymore so she quit taking them. End result, she landed in the hospital in comple kidny failure and endd up on dialysis. It also can cause strokes, heart attacks, heart failure, blindness to name a few. High blood pressure alwas needs to be treated appropiatlty since it can cause so much unseen damage before it's noed. The standards for High blood pressure are now anything over 140/90. If either number is higher it is advisable to treat.

I have hypertension. Usually when my blood pressure is up I get a warm and fuzzy feeling. It doesn't really affect my arms and legs, but it is different with each person. You really should go to a doctor and have it checked out.

High blood pressure or hypertension is hard to feel. You might get a flushed face but it shouldn't affect your arms and legs. However I am not a doctor and I would advise you to have it checked ASAP
