There are various things you can try.... I've heard wearing those dental dams (spelling?) in your mouth can stop it... also you probably only snore when lying in certain positions so you can try to find out which work and then go to sleep like that.

At the end of the day, there's no need to be embarrassed about snoring. I snore, my girlfriend snores, in fact, everyone I know snores - it's just natural. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it!

Hope this helps!

Snoring occurs when the flow of air from the mouth or nose to the lungs is disturbed during sleep, usually by a blockage or narrowing in the nose, mouth, or throat (airway). This causes the tissues of the airway to vibrate and knock against the back of the throat, resulting in a noise that can be soft, loud, raspy, harsh, hoarse, or fluttering.

In the past, snoring was often considered no more than a nuisance that kept a bed partner awake at night. However, snoring may progress to upper respiratory resistance syndrome and obstructive sleep apnea, a potentially serious sleep disorder in which you periodically stop breathing during sleep. Because of this, it is important to see your health professional if you routinely snore.

Avoid drinking alcohol, eating heavy meals at least 4 hours before going to sleep. Nasal passages can be kept clear using a humidifier, inhaling steam, nasal strips and nasal sprays. A continuous positive airways pressure (CPAP) machine may also help, but it is available only on prescription.More remedies

get your vocal cords removed. Also...i believe snoring is related to stress. If you are very stressed out, this maybe the reason why you snore. If it isnt stress related, the it might be you dont get a good nights sleep. Sleep well!
