The best and most spiritual place in India to visit is Sri Vrndavana, about 3.5 hrs from Delhi, and the best time to be there is the months of October and earlier Novemeber. It is like spring there at that time, with flowers blossoming and mild weather. Go to South India during the cold winter months as the weather will be nice, and when it is summer in the west, then go to North India and the Himalayas, because the weather will be more moderate. I would say that best time to visit india would be december , becasue of the weather, weather is very cold in december, but when it come may, june and july it is too summer

The best time depends actually as per your interest.Fine.Climate---then After November 1st week.Celebration of festivals-October and up to November last week.Of course in March -also.for Holi festival.And winter December.So it depends where you want to stay and enjoy and as per that schedules the time can be decided.

after the completion of elections..and during summer visiting ooty is cool for all..and busy bangalore for shopping ..any time can be allowed
