I had sex last night. Today, I am experiencing just a bit of blood on toilet paper after urination. It hurts a bit to urinate as well, like there's a lot of pressure "down there." I know I need to see a doctor, but what might be going on less than 24 hours after sexual intercourse??
This is definitely not menstrual-like blood, but blood occuring during or right after urination. It's not a lot -- more like light pink and only visible on the toilet paper.

This happens to me. The best thing is to make sure that you are taking it slow and not pounding one another. This will help you heal and not have the blood on the TP. I know this has been happening to me for a little while to. The bleeding didn't come when we made sure that we were taking it slow and there was no pounding or rough sex. If you like it rough then you may want to make sure that you are using a lubrication so that it will no tear your inner wall. Also if it starts to burn or feel pain then you must see the doctor. I had to and they told me a had a UTI and some other infection in the vagainal area. Please go right away after you are feeling any pain. Good luck honey!

Local trauma from the sex could have irritated the urethtra (opening from which you urinate). Hopefully this is all it is. See your doctor because bleeding from the urethra may also be a sign of an STD (rare) or a bladder problem.

both a kidney stone or a uti...they both suck yet are treatable. drink a good number of water or cranberry juice (or both) and take AZO (over the counter). call your dr, he can prescribe antibiotics.

Could be a UTI, could be a vaginal tear, could be a wart or blister that got popped in there.
