I don't think that tons of people are going to change their diet just to spite some vegans that don't eat meat. Not all vegans hate vegetarians. It's quite the contrary. Believe it or not there are people that *truly* believe that kind of garbage (I got a lecture like that recently)! NONE of us want or try to make people eat more meat!! Hey Andie (I caught you talking behind my back again)!! Good guess! Reptilian *is* in my travel area. So if I *were* a crazed psychopath like the doof who made those claims in the first paragraph or like the redneck cowpokes (you do know why they're called cow-pokes don't you) I grew up around (who used to attempt to shove hamburgers down my veggie throat) it would theoretically be possible. Fortunately I am a sane totally non-violent person who would NEVER accost another being for any reason (although the village idiot Texas is missing and his Wyoming puppetmaster sorely tempt me). BTW, she heckles all the sons of Abraham-not just Jews. As someone who doesn't follow those ways I can *almost* appreciate it (but I consider faith a private matter and don't slam any-ones beliefs (until they slam mine!)).

No, I've been to their food fairs. They only offer an alternative. They do the experimentation and we come in and try it out. Some of it is surprisingly good.

As my husband and I aged, we became less able to tolerate as much meat as before although we still include some meat. Our food expenditures have been reduced considerably (not by design but by circumstance). We don't spend much on food because we eat simple meals including fresh foods and just don't need to eat as much food anymore.

Vegans don't hate anybody as a group. (I'm not vegan btw) It absolutely pisses me off when ignorant people make generalizations and assumptions about an ENTIRE group of people.

The problem with many vegetarians is revealed within your question: "making more people eat meat."

The problem is not vegetarianism per se, or any belief system for that matter. The problem is when anyone feels the need to impose their will on others.

All prejudice and most wars have this fundamental human flaw at their core.
