Milk is phlegm inducing. It is best to reduce your milk intake when ill with a cold or flu. It turns out that milk is the perfect food ....... for calves. There are many better sources of calcium and vitamin D.

It can. I've fed a calf a bottle of cows milk once and it's mouth was so slimey with discusting mucus, so imagine how it effects us.
This happens to my husband, with all dairy products. It's his lactose intolerance and it could be yours.
