I am type 2 diabetic and some of the symptoms of it are increased urination, increased thirst obesity. It is also heriditary, my late Uncle and cousin have it also. Go to your doctor they give you what they call a medicola and test ur blood and they know if you have it by testing how your body processes glucose. if it can't they will give you either insulin or a pill you take. Also they will give you a prescription for a glucose testing meter, test strips and lancets. Sometimes if you go to a self care diabetes class it's usually 2 days they give you samples of foods for diabetics and a free glucose testing meter. The cos do this as a promotion they know u will have to buy the testing strips and lancets and those can get expensive only one works w/each meter. They will also tell you how to measure food portions and u will see a nutritionist who will work out a meal plan according to what you like to eat.

I'm a type 2 diabetic, i had no symptoms except for a yeast infection after an antibiotic I've been taken at that time which is normal in some cases, so this yeast infection didn't go away after two medical treatments then i incest to do another urine test at my doctors office so when she did the test she told me you have high glucose in the urine, then she told me to do some blood work and that showed that I'm type 2 diabetic. for you just keep aware of any infections and do the regular check up

1 Polydipsia- thirsty,
2 can gain weight as well as loose.
3 if u pee outside ..ant or insects can surround ur urine as it will contain more glucose.,
4 weakness,
5 hypertension- may have slightly high blood pressure,
6 drowsy
7 sleep disorder
8 anxiety
9 frequency to urinate - toileting
10 blurring of vision because of arterypathy..that means damaging the small vessels in eyes.
11. u should then check ur blood sugar level or do OGTT ie. oral glucose torerant test ...that means how much u can tolerate to glucose u take..it will help diagnose..

Hope the info is helpfull to you..have a healthy life..be happy and best of luck.
