husky, from your other question I also know that you have a pacemaker and a problem with oxygen going down with exertion. I think you probably need to see a cardiologist about this problem. I think your situation is fairly complicated and a cardiologist can help sort it all out. I hope things get better soon.

My HR goes up pretty fast, and settles down quickly. It's because I'm out of shape and drink lots of caffinated beverages.

your heart will do this if you have not had sufficient exercise, because the heart is a muscle. Talk to your doctor about beginning to exercise.
