do you want the effects of long term diabetes, or just the syptoms of someone who has diabetes?
A few major effects of diabetes in a patient who doesnt treat it properly are blindness,circulatory and pulmonary problems and in serious cases you can lose limbs.

it effects your circulatory system - so you'll end up with dead nerves from loss of circulation - and heart problems and vision loss - even ampuation from dead tissue from lack of circulation - very important to keep blood sugar levels on track
