AA) First of all we must be aware of factors that lead to cause heart disease.

The following details provide basic information and factors that cause heart disease:

When many lakhs of cars are moving on the roads only a few cars meet with accidents. Cars with defective brakes, gears or non-aligned tyres have increased chances of accidents.

Likewise, extensive clinical and statistical studies have identified several factors that increase the risk ofheart and blood vessel(cardiovascular) disease.

Other factors are associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease, but such significance and prevalence haven’t yet been precisely determined. They are called contributing risk factors.

The American Heart Association has identified several risk factors . Some of them can be modified ,treated or controlled, and some can’t.

The more risk factors you have , the greater your chance of developing coronary heart disease. Also, the greater the level of each risk factor, the greater the risk. For example,a person with a total cholesterol of 300 ml/dL has a greater risk than some one with a total cholesterol of 245 mg/dL, even though everyone with a total cholesterol greater than 240 mg/dL is considered high risk.

NON-MODIFIABLE RISK FACTORS:

1)Increasing age
2) Gender
3)Heredity(Including Race)

MODIFIABLE RISK FACTORS:

1)Smoking
2)High blood cholesterol
3)High blood pressure
4)Physical inactivity
5)Obesity
6)Diabetes Mellitus
7)Stress
8)Alcohol

BB) Once the factors that cause heart disease are known, the person irrespective of the status of his/her health and heart conditions, can take necessary precautionary measures to suppress and eliminate the causative factors to avoid heart disease and prolong life avoiding premature death.

Therefore, conclusively, educating oneself about the risk factors, will definitely help to prevent heart disease.

Fortunately, only those with an organ known as a 'heart' are at risk of this disease. It has been estimated that approximately 12% of the population has a heart. Most people are heartless these days and will suffer other maladys such diabetes and tennis elbow.
It has been theorized that in the past everybody had a heart, but as society became industrialized and technological, people became more and more heartless.
You can do a test to see if you have a heart known as the 'Care Test' Walk through a crowded place and watch people quietly without forming specific thoughts. If spontaneously you feel a burst of empathy for all strangers you are in possesion of a heart and thus prone to the disease that goes with it

There are several populations who have factors that put them at higher-risk for heart disease.

-The elderly, those over 65 years old,

-Males are generally more at risk than females. Gender plays a part in heart disease risk factor, however women are catching up with men in diagnosis of heart disease,

-Heredity, meaning heart disease can be genetic and can run in families.

-A person's race

These factors are risk factors that cannot be controlled. If you are one of the people who would be considered high-risk, it is important that you work with your physician on ways to combat the disease.

Heart disease is often controllable or preventable, if a person has good medical care and an awareness of any risk factors in their lives.
