What happens when a hep b vaccinated person comes into contact with hep b (example: has sex w/ someone with hep b or has a blood transfusion) Does the vaccine kill the virus immediately or how does this work??

if you have had the vaccine you should have had the titer done afterwards to be sure the shots were effective .....if not you would get another shot....once you have the right titer showing immunity then you would be safe from heb b

Vaccine against hep b will produce antibodies against virus which will kill the virus on its entry into body.

the vaccine exposes you to a small amount of inactive virus, so that you form antibodies to it. when you are exposed your immune system just fights it off.
