Lately I've been enjoying this one:
Did you hear they found more cattle infected with mad cow disease? Since they are only testing one out of every 200,000 cows I wonder who ate all the ones they didn't test?

I once walked into a new restaurant where two wait people were standing near the door.
I asked, "I'm new here and a vegetarian, do you have anything on the menu for me?"
One of the two said to the other with a laugh, "Eww, is that contagious."
I simply replied, " I hope so." and left the building.

Why does it matter? You eat what you like they eat what they like. My best friend doesn't eat Beef or Pork that doesn't mean I should dangle it in her face. It is a personal choice. What's the point of being ignorant about it? (Not you personally but people who are assholes about the whole vegetarian thing.)

Well, I'm personally quite fond of "Why the hell do you go into the Vegetarian/Vegan section of Yahoo! Answers just to spout out overused jokes and outright insults at vegetarians? Do you really have nothing better to do?"
I use that one a lot around here. Wonder why that is?

At least I am working toward my beliefs... what are YOU doing?
(for those who feel the need to grill me over and over to find some reason to try to call me a hypocrite)
If we weren't supposed to eat people, then why are they made out of MEAT? because, um, you *do* understand we are made out of the same meat... right?... You know this.... chop a chunk off your side and fry it up; you will find it quite delicious.
If someone sliced his fingertip off in your sandwich, would you just pick it out and eat the sandwich? (when asked why I don't just *take the animal flesh off the dinner*.
I am not getting into this conversation because you don't actually want to know; you just want to be rude.
But mostly, I just say, your dinner is none of my business, and mine is none of yours.

"You can't have your pets and eat them too!" or "What did a cow ever do to you?", I also say "You are a hypocrite if you say you love animals but you eat them too"
