No, you won't get it from sharing a drink with someone. HPV is only spread by sex (vaginal, oral and anal) and direct skin to skin contact with the infected are. Rarely it can be spread a baby during birth.
The only STD you can get from drinking after someone is herpes (cold sores). If someone has a cold sore on their lip or mouth area and you drink after them, it's possible for you to get the virus. You can also get it from sharing lipstick, chap stick, cigarettes, and more commonly - kissing them.

I'm not sure about drinking from the same cup as someone, or if you have to have skin-to-skin contact to transmit/pass on the HPV...I recently have taken a physiology course in which the prof abruptly showed a slide of what HPV looks like on the genitals-it is NOT a pretty sight!! Eww~, Gross!! Just be sure to really always be safe!!!

I got diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about 3 yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I realize loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/eSonN everything improved.
Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method provided the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

THE HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS
I believe that it is sexually trasmitted /not by casual contact/but if you feel that you are at risk
take to you doctor/very treatable when caught early
The human papilloma virus (HPV) is one of the most common virus groups in the world to affect the skin and mucosal areas of the body. Over eighty types of HPV have been identified. Different types of the human papillomavirus are known to infect different parts of the body. It infects the epithelial cells of skin and mucosa. The epithelial surfaces include all areas covered by skin and/or mucosa such as the mouth, throat, tongue, tonsils, vagina, penis, and anus. Infection with the virus occurs when these areas come into contact with a virus, allowing it to transfer between epithelial cells
