You need to get the cholesterol levels down. See your doctor and a dietitian to discuss diet changes which will help.
The pains are not likely to be connected with the raised levels.

Probably not, but since you're seeing you doctor about your high cholesterol level, mention this to him, especially that it has come so sudden lately. My cholesterol numbers are near what you have. They are 230 and 184. If it doesn't come down, it's possible that I (and you too) could get into real trouble! - - - like heart trouble - - - like die.
I'm taking Zetia to get the cholesterol down. I'm watching what I eat, to get the cholesterol down. Ask your doctor about three thing: 1) the pain you talk about! 2) Zetia so your liver isn't affected by using statins...VERY important! 3) what certain foods not to eat.
It's time to quit fooling around with this. Do all your doctor says. You'll be a better person, have more energy, and plain feel top-notch! Doesn't happen overnight.
And highly consider a GOOD, --- good!! daily vitamin that has all the B vitamins in it. And liquid vitamins are the best, no doubt about that.
p.s.: the head-back pain is probably because of the way you sleep. Never sleep on your stomach and consider a good contoured pillow, and not an el-cheapo foam one. Hope ypu get better.

Those pains you are experiencing have nothing to do with your cholesterol levels. Pains associated with high cholesterol are usually in the chest region. Your LDL level is way too high and you need to get it down. You did not say whether or not you are on medication for your high cholesterol level. Be very careful because having high cholesterol can cause the blockage of your arteries and decrease the passage of oxygenated blood going to the heart and around the body. This then causes infarction of the heart tissues which in turn causes the heart to pump harder to get some oxygenated blood. When this happens you either get a heart attack, myocardial infarction or angina pectoris. In any cases, you want to remain healthy and live. So please visit a physician to get some tests done.

Those are very high numbers. You need to see a doctor who will get you on some meds and monitor your blood pressure. Take it from me, I had a heart attack a few weeks ago (never been sick a day in my life).
