is there a disease or cancer that has symptoms or pains for about a week or longer and then you die? (like can you have symptoms or pains[chest pains, fever, etc.] for a stroke or heart attack and then just get the heart attack or stroke?)

pain with cancer does not mean it is fatal. Many have experienced pain with cancer and have been cured.

Cancer is a silent killer, when you feel the pain its too late to do anything about it. For a heart attack you get chest pains, your left arm might hurt, go numb or tingle. It's a bad pain, like someone is sitting on your chest, when that happens you need to go to the ER, for a stroke it can come on suddenly or more slower like when your speech slurs, you have no feeling on either side of your body, some heart attacks are so severe or massive they can kill on the spot, and some strokes can do the same thing.
The main thing is to notice the symptoms and react right away.
Indigestion sometimes feel like a heart attack but if you're sure you haven't eaten anything that could cause it, its always better to go to ER, better safe, than sorry. For cancer it is important to have a physical every year and past the age of 40 a mammogram. The physical should include a chest X-ray, an ECG and bloodwork and for women a pap smear.
None of the things you asked have a symptom of fever. Fever you get only at an infection, cold or a flu and when your body tried to fights an illness.
