Okay , this is what I got.

Rice, spices, vegetables, chick peas.

Any creative ideas on how to cook flavorful rice?

I've got a big tub of choummous in the fridge, i'm of middle eastern origin , i know all about it. I should point out that falafel is not that healthy, it is fried and fatty after all.

Stick to Hummous, Tabouli, Techina, Chilbe (madeout of fenugreek) and all the rest of the medditaranean dips and salads.

Well, I don't know about rice, but seeing the words "chick peas" reminds me...

You need hummus. And falafel. Lots of hummus and falafel. It's pretty sad how most meat-eaters and even some vegetarians don't get enough Vitamin Hummus And Falafel.

Good sources of Vitamin Hummus And Falafel include hummus. And falafel.

I wouldn't re-use the drain water; not all plants like how our socks taste. They might gang up on you some dark night. Creeping in slowly... Leaving trails of potting soil... (((O.O))) As for my favorite plants, there's no way you'd get sassafras trees in your dorm; even the little ones would be too much. And so would honeysuckle, which could end up taking over everything, anyway; they do like to grow and climb. You'd end up having to knock and see if they wanted you to come in, and they'd always be looking over your shoulder. Watching. And waiting... I think basil and mint might be better choices, and of those two I'd pick the Jubel one. And maybe some green nail polish.

If you have curry powder you can make curry rice.

heat oil or butter in skillet with onion add some curry powder about a half a tsp to start add to taste. cook until onion is soft add rice. stir to coat rice and add water or broth.

Cover cook on low heat. and Enjoy

SPANISH RICE If you have Sazon (a Spanish seasoning comes in red color or yellow) you can add that to rice same as curry rice directions.

OR

RED RICE add green peppers, onions, olives and a small can tomatoes sauce with equal amount of water bring to a boil add rice and olive oil if u have it.

Cover and cook on low heat.

Hope this helps Good Luck!!!!
