Aids 'formed' after the first few cases of HIV surfaced.

Hiv is the illness as it reduces the immune systems to virtually nil.
Aids is what you get when you Immune system has collapsed.

There are links to Africa for the start of the disease and there are theories that either, a previously unknown African tribe had it and passed it to another tribe until westerners caught it and it turned into a Pandemic. OR, it came from blood samples of some Gorillas and other apes and was accidently passed on to the medical staff studying them.

Those that think the 'secret' government created it in a lab to help control population levels, are also the ones who believe Elvis never died and regularly has a Tea Party with the Loch Ness Monster on Mars!

I've always believed it was man-made to control the world population. Can't control it by ourselves through smart sex, so invent a cure. Blaming on the monkeys was easy. No one can disprove that. If it came from monkeys, why did it wait until the early 80's to finally show itself?

There is a cure, but no one will release it. The cure would put too many people (researchers) out of a job and the pharm. companies would lose billions.

Think about it. Release a cure and the world population would explode beyond belief.

It's a man-made (or should I say media-made) disease.

AIDS is simply an umbrella name for a collection of diseases that have always existed, but suddenly appeared in greater numbers among certain "at risk" groups starting in the 1980's. For many years it was thought that a weakening of the immune system caused by HIV was responsible for this surge in diseases, but that has been proven to be a questionable hypothesis.

The pharmacuetical companies love the old theories about AIDS and encourage them, because they sell LOTS of drugs to "treat" the disease.

Back in 1985 I was told by a representative of a leading pharmaceutical company who were doing major research into developing drugs to combat HIV infection that the disease originated in monkeys. The local male population were apparently not adverse to anal sex with the infected monkeys. They therefore caught the disease and because the main form of contraception at the time was to have anal sex with their human partners the disease soon spread.
Before anyone gets all riled up with me remember I'm only recounting what I've been told by someone who was doing research into drugs to cure HIV and he wasn't laughing when he told the story.

It was thought that it mutated when a monkey bit a human being and transmitted the disease over. Once the disease was inside the body, it started mutating and attacking the immune system, hence why your immune system fails which causes you to catch diseases and die

The general opinion is it was passed to humans from monkeys through the bush meat trade in africa.

Apparently an American shagged a green monkey and then passed it on to a human.

I heard it was a disease among monkeys that somehow found its way into the human poulation. How? Sharing needles with a monkey, getting a blood transfusion from a monkey, sex with a monkey?
