Jumping rope can be a good aerobic exercise. For most people it´s pretty vigorous, so intervals may be the best way to go. Warm up with some brisk walking, then jump for two minutes, rest a minute or so, jump two, etc. If you can go longer, do it. Add half a minute to your jumping and/or shorten your rest periods if you want to improve your jumping time and make this one of your main exercises. Make sure to choose a surface that isn't too hard. Like other cardio exercises, work at a pace where you´re breathing a little hard but can still talk.

Running too is one of the most vigorous exercises you can do as well. It is an extremely efficient way to burn calories and drop pounds. You can run in the park, or pay to join a gym. Skipping too is something everybody can do in their spare time. It is a simple and fun exercise and once you have got the hang of it you're bound to like it. The effort it takes to skip for ten minutes is the equivalent of running a mile in eight minutes. So, if you think the park is too far or too populated with unsavoury characters, you can skip at home or in the garden. Thirty minutes of this type of exercise is really good for your heart and weight loss effort as running a couple of miles. One hour of skipping you will burn 1,300 calories which is not bad at all for something that only requires a piece of rope and some free time.

Yes, unless you have bad legs or back, then jump into a nice pool and jump up and down its also fun.

actually its a GREAT exercise! not only does it get your heart pumping, but it helps build muscles in your arms and legs! and its fun as hell!

undoubtedly. it is much better than jogging.but if u have cardiac problems u must consult a doctor.otherwise it is a good slimming excercise.
