There are several red rashes on my body. I don't have an allegy problem. I see a doctor about it and he examined me and told me that it was STD. I was not told what exactly the disease is and there was no blood test. I guess it might be syphilis. But there isn't any red marks on my palms or base of my foot. The red marks are mainly on my body and near my private area. I had sex with a guy in December but he doesn't had any signs of the disease. I slept with my ex-boyfriend for 3 years before this guy. How do I know whether Iam cured or not even if the marks have disappear?

Go to a specialist for a thorough checkup. Better still, go for a blood test.

It seems like you went to a pretty incompetent doctor, there are various tests for all the STDs and the test for syphillis is simple and cheap.

To put your mind at rest go to another doctor in the UK and the Commonwealth countries it is a venerologist and in other countries a dermatologist.

Most countries have free or very cheap STD clinics that you can attend, the address should be in the phone book or Google for a web site.

Don't let this pass many STDs have long term serious consiquences and all (with the exception of HIV and herpes) can be cured.

check out this website..
http://www.herpes-coldsores.com/std/syphilis.htm..it has pictures of what syphillus looks like. You definately need to get reexamined. Make the doctor tell you what STD you have. 70% of teens walk around w/ an STD and don't know it. Your friend who said he is OK could be a carrier and not even know it. Your best bet is ABSTINENCE....its never too late to stop. It could mean your life.......

Google: "Justin Bieber Syphilis" and the news article should come up. If not, try it ten more times and it should appear, with images also.

You need to go to another doctor and get some proper information. Make sure you ask the same questions you've put on here and don't leave until you have all the answers.
