I have tried local Krogers, Whole Foods and Meijers international aisle to no avail

Try the Vietnamese Market at 13mile and Dequinter in Madison Heights. We buy a lot of asian groceries there and I know my wife buys creamed coconut.
You didn't say which town you live in. Lansing has Asian markets as well as there is a nice big one in Grand Rapids too. Good luck, cheers.

Stop by your nearest Kroger market, then check the ethnic foods aisle(especially if you're in the Dearborn area)...

it's fun but takes some time
You can appreciate the experience and taste the difference in your meal
Get the book "How to MIlk a Coconut" and get to work.

any Indian store will have it, if you live in Troy/Bloomfield Hills,
Southfield...any Detroit suburb, you should have no problem finding an Indian store.

I am sure even Meijers will have it, they sell everything!

try an asian market. you might even have luck at your regular supermarket as well in the ethnic aisle
