clindamycin and clindamycin is very likely to give you yeast infections or colitis so I would not use it as my first antibiotic of treatment unless it was all
that I could get or culture from a lab showed it would work the best on my current infection

Don't know but be careful with clyndamiacin I ended up with a slightly inflamed appendix ended up in hospital it was being used to treat an abcess tooth also had two abortions and had to have an operation for fluid and debris buildup in my uterus they were going to remove my appendix but decided against it

This is a very powerful and dangerous antibiotic, should be used under Doctor's close supervision and when no other drug will do the trick.

it depends on what type of organism is causing your infection. did you have a culture and sensitivity? if it is suseptible to it...then yes. however, it is not commonly prescribed for uti.
