Get tested ASAP! It is possible to have chlamydia and not have any symptoms. About half of infected men have no symptoms. Men with signs or symptoms might have a discharge from their penis or a burning sensation when urinating. Men might also have burning and itching around the opening of the penis.
If left untreated, complications among men include infection spreading to the epididymis (a tube that carries sperm from the testis), causing pain, fever, and, rarely, sterility. However, the ricks for women are higher. In women, untreated infection can spread into the uterus or fallopian tubes and cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). PID can cause permanent damage to the fallopian tubes, uterus, and surrounding tissues. The damage can lead to chronic pelvic pain, infertility, and potentially fatal ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside the uterus).
In the future, abstain from sexual contact, or to be in a long-term mutually monogamous relationship with a partner who has been tested and is known to be uninfected. Latex male condoms, when used consistently and correctly, can reduce the risk of transmission of chlamydia and other STI's.

You could be asymptomatic, which means you can have it and not have any symptoms. Not all people have symptoms. However if left untreated you will have major complications in the long run and it can cause you to be sterile. So go get tested right away and don't be ashamed because it's your health that's effected if you don't

You're unbelievable. If there's the least question that you may be a carrier, you need to be screened before you transmit it to other women. So in answer to your question, you know you have Chlamydia because you've tested positive.

Hello why have you not gone to the doctor? Why are you asking us? We can not tell you if you have any STD! Only your doctor can do that, and he HAS to test you first. Go to the doctor before it get to the point of no return. If caught early enough it can be treated.

Then why haven't you gone to the doctor to get tested?????
You shouldn't be having unprotected sex in the first place. Second, the minute your "friend" said she had it---you should have RUN to the doctors to be tested.

only a doctor can tell you if you have chlamydia. if you're the only man she's been with, it doesn't matter how long ago.
