Not sure you can ask but this is a medication that is fighting against HPV which is a sexually transmitted disease that causes genital warts, abnormal Pap tests, and cervical cancer. This vaccine is only effective for people who have not yet been exposed to these strains. It should ideally be administered to people before they become sexually active, which is why the original clinical trials and the FDA’s initial approval are “for use in females 9–26 years of age”. For now, indeed, it is off-label for men and for women age 27 and up; but I cannot for the life of me think of any reason why it would be harmful. You can ask if you are able to get Gardasil but they would not like you to be sexually active.

You do not have to be a virgin to receive the gardasil shot and it dose not matter if you have already been infected with one of the strands of hpv. I should know I have HPV and mine turned to cancer about 4 months before the vaccine came out. I was told by a Representative from the merke pharmaceutical company that the vaccine will still protect from the other 3 strands that i do not have. I would suggest to everyone to go and get the shot even if you are diagnosed with HPV, that way you are protected from the other strands. Good luck best wishes:) Amyj

You do not need to be a virgin. The more you have had sex, the higher your chance of being exposed to one of the strains of human papilloma virus (HPV) that causes cervical cancer. The vaccine is recommended for all females between ages 9 and 26 regardless of sexual history.
