Try changing your workout routine. By doing new activities you work different muscle groups and keep your body guessing. The following worked well for me.

Work out 5 days/week. Cardio 3 days, weights 2. For cardio, I alternated elliptical, treadmill, bike, swimming. Try to keep your HR up throughout the activity. For weights, I would work one muscle group at a time, do as many reps as I could until I reached "burn out". As you begin to increase the number of reps it takes you to reach this stage, start increasing the weight. By focusing on just one thing at a time, either weights or cardio, you will get a better return on your investment of an hour.

Also, diet plays a big part. You want to make sure you're feeding your body the right kinds of calories and fats. Stick to plenty of fresh veggies, green and leafy are the best. Lean protein like chicken and turkey. Lean red meat no more than once/week. Small amounts of complex carbs only, like brown rice. Stay away from starchy foods like potatoes and bread, these are easily converted to sugar by the body and are stored as fat. Also, nuts are a great source of protein as well as healthy fats. Stay away from soda as well as juice, LOTS of sugar there. Also, most canned fruit is packed in sugar syrup, bad idea. Fresh fruits only. If you need the caffeine, stick to coffee and tea. Portion size is a HUGE deal, a serving of meat should be about the size of your palm. If you don't feed your body enough, especially when you're exercising, your body will go into "starvation" mode and will actually work harder to hold onto the fat you already have. It's a metabolic survival thing. Sucks.

Good luck:)

You can exercise until you are exhausted, but that only burns a few calories. To loose weight, diet is more important than exercise. You no doubt are building muscle. Some people have trouble with water retention which tries to confuse things. You didn't gain the weight in a couple of months, so you shouldn't expect to loose it an that time.

Try this: More hours, less times per week. I agree with the guy above, choose food carefully and you will get there. My best bet is that you are not putting enough efford into it. Do something you really would like to do, and that you think it's fun. You will burn calories and at the same time loose weight. Also, drink plenty of water.

Ps: Its not advisable to loose more than 8Kg per month.
