For some crazy reason, Costco won't give prices over the phone. It's a haul to the nearest Costco, so I'm trying to figure out rough prices to compare to my neighborhood supermarket.

Anyone bought their big veggie tray, any kind of cheese tray from there?? How much was it?

Prices will vary with sizes and contents, I paid $45.00 per tray (serving 8-12 people per) at Christmas time for cheese and fruit platters and a bit more for meat. I did not price the veggie trays.

Costco is awesome! Yes they have sandwhich and meat platters and you can also get lots of frozen finger foods such as chicken strips, mozza sticks and fries. They have huge cakes if you were interested in that and maybe a loaf or two of garlic bread. Costo is great for a big event cause everything is bulk!

Maybe if you speak with a manager they could mail you out a brochure with prices. I can understand them not wanting to give prices over the phone. Call again and ask to speak to a manager. Good luck!

That's weird. I guess they don't want competitors calling for prices.

However, it sucks for the consumer, as you are discovering. I believe I'd use another deli.
