If your partner feels that they are not infected and they "care about you oh so much", getting tested shouldn't be a problem. Right?

I've made up my mind already. We're no longer speaking. I just want to get your take on this matter. And please, be honest.

They are showing no respect for you and your worries. It isnt just trust but piece of mind. If they loved you oh so much they would do it with no question. I think you are right for not speaking to them and breaking up with them should this become more of a problem. Maybe there is something wrong they are hiding. They are giving you reason not to trust them.
Tell them to kick rocks! Getting a disease is not worth trusting them.

If they have slept with other people previously, then you have every right to ask for them to be tested before you sleep with them. It's your life at risk and I don't blame you one bit. It's too bad others didn't think this way too. This would surely cut down the spread of AIDS.

I would make them choose to get a test or hit the road jack. If they don't want to be tested it makes me think that they are hiding something or that they are scared to find out the truth about their health. I would definetly make them get an HIV test.

If they refused to get tested, I would refuse to continue the relationship.

you are totally right. I shouldn't have to take chances with my health just because they don't want to get checked. it's not only bad for me, it's bad for them. if they find out about an STD they have, they can treat it for themselves before spreading it to others.
