Do you have a favorite movie? You could use that as your theme. Or if you like costume parties have a themed costume party-as in everybody has to dress to fit the theme you chose. For instance you could pick and 80's theme and everybody would have to come dressed in parachute pants, harem pants or anything that fits that era. Just an idea. Have a great birthday!

It should whatever interests you.
If you are into fashion, maybe have it themed with colorful fabrics and clothing designs in photos across the room.
Or if you are like into the whole princess/prince thing... Have a throne somewhere in the room and wear a tiarra.
Some themes you might want to consider:
Roman Holiday (with a romantic european theme)
Greek Mythology (with those greeks green thorn hats and ask everyone to wear white)
Asian (serve chinese food and have a oriental candles, table settings, etc)
Egypitian. (Maybe have a pyrimid cake in the middle of the room)
Sweet Teen ( maybe serve virgin-vesions of famous alcoholic drinks there, i know the version shirley temple is pretty good)
Another idea is like have your guest donate some money to maybe your favorite charity, wether its children's hosipital or cancer patients or AA family help groups. It is a great way to give back and demostrate to your family and friends that you are really maturing into a caring yound adult. =]

I would say just get a dance party, and give everyone a disposable camera at the begining ( I tried this once it is really fun!) I would play the more popular songs...now is ot the time toplay your guilty pleasures. And be sure to hav plenty of soda and pizza/chips. Good luck!

Ask everyone coming to bring a lamp shade and a sheet
Then have some pizza and pop and good snack food

Small room, dance party. Really small room, if it's too big people won't dance, they spread out. Have some spin the bottle and other games like that, it's always good
