I have had an awful cough for well over a month now. When i first went to the docs they told me it was Sinusitis. I took the meds they gave me and it never got better. I went to another doc and they said their wasnt really anything wrong with me. Gave me sudafed and sent me home. I cough all day long and at night its worse. It almost sounds like the type of cough you have when you have bronchitis. The docs says my lungs sound clear. I KNOW THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG. HELP! IM MISERABLE!

Find others doctors for one!

Go to a pulmanary specialist and an ear/nose and throat specialist....that should help narrow it down

if it has been a few days since you've seen a doctor, I would go back. It could be that your lungs sounded clear then, but don't now. Explain to them how uncomfortable you are and how much you are coughing. They will probably investigate it further.

You should see a pulmonologist. Your sinus infection could be dripping into your lungs causing the cough that you have. Possibly you should check into seeing an ENT, and an allergist if things don't get better soon.

If the doctors don't know, you're sure not to find the right answer here. However, my neighbor was like that too and it was a nervous (stress) condition.
