It can take a while for things to get working better. Sometimes after a serious illness, organs never get back to their previous working condtion, but better than they were when you were so sick. Depends on age, and your other health problems, and also just your 'luck.' I've seen people so sick with septic shock, they needed dialysis, pacemaker for weeks. Months later, they are back on the gold course, leading a normal life. (my uncle) So, serious illness takes a toll. Make sure you follow your doctor's advice, and talk to them if you have new concerns or problems. If you are feeling depressed about your lack of progress, talk to them about that too. Cause your mind has alot to do with your healing. Hope you feel better soon!

You need proper medical advice, not advice from here! See your doctor.
