The average adult blood pressure is 120/80. 110/70 is considered a "good low" blood pressure, and 90/60 is when doctors start getting concerned about your blood pressure being too low. 140/90 is when doctors start getting concerned about blood pressure being too high, and 160/100 is DANGER ZONE.

Sounds like your BP machine is a little screwy. You'd be better off getting a sphygmomenometer (sp?) and a stethoscope and learning how to take blood pressure readings the old-fashioned way. According to a nurse friend of mine, the old "hand pump" method is more accurate than the machines are.

A adult 140/90
No. You probably need to check it over,or u probably just have low blood pressure. When u have low blood pressure u need help as well.Like someone with high blood pressure. Your organs is not getting enough oxygen. But just check it on the other arm when u check on the right and it don't seem right check it on the left arm.
