hoo haa.
It is smaller than a pea and red, but not an open sore. There is only 1 and has been there about a week. It's on the outside skin part.
What could it be? Ingrown hair? Zit? Herpes????
PLEASE HELP!

Probably a zit or an ingrown hair. If you are concerned, see your doctor. Or post a picture on Y! Answers and we'll all take look at it for you.

If it is painful, then it may be herpes. But if is found on the area with hair, then it may be infection of the hair follicle. If its been there for a week and is getting bigger or getting ulcerated, better see a gynecologist.

it could be a boil.. they are painful to touch and feel really hard in the center, looks like a big pimple but don't squeeze it, it can get infected and then you would have a bigger problem. if it doesn't go away in a few days you may want to see a doctor.

Only a doctor can tell you for sure. If you think it could be herpes you need to get tested. Its better for you to know for sure.

sounds like an ingrown hair--rub it with olive oil.

could be any of those...even a cyst or a boil...please go to the doctors and get it checked out asp....before it gets any worst.
