Not true !

You only get the HIV virus if you are exposed to it through transfer of body fluids usually through sex and/or intravenous drug use.

The HIV virus will usually develop into AIDS and kill you if it is not controlled by a very expensive combination of drugs.

If someone is telling you " that we all have HIV " I would be very suspicious that this person does have the virus and is trying to get you to join them by giving you the disease. (misery loves company )

There has been some speculation that the virus came from monkeys
but no one knows for sure.

Some people believe that the government was developing a new biological weapon and it got released into the world population.

The fact is HIV or AIDS cannot be contracted without exchange of body fluids.

It is absolutely not true that we all have some of the HIV virus (AIDS is a disease caused by the HIV virus, not something you can actually have inside you). It is true that some people, note, only some, can have the HIV virus for many years with little or no symptoms. It is believed that HIV originated as a monkey virus, SIV, which is very similar. It probably then mutated so it infected humans easily. The transmission from monkey to human could have been a result of contact with infected bush meat, or a monkey bite. Over time, monkeys have become almost immune to SIV, so it is possible in the future that this will happen with humans.

Everyone does not have AIDS inside them. You must be exposed and contract the virus in order to be HIV positive.

AIDS originated as early as the1920's in a remote village in Africa. It was common for villagers to kills small monkeys (I'm not sure the exact breed) and eat them. Some monkeys were infected, which in turn infected the villagers. These villagers never traveled to other villages and other people did not come to them. People did die then, but they did not know what is was from. As time went on, and technology progressed, people began to travel outside their villages. This is how AIDS began to spread. First it was among people in other villages, then it was people in the cities, then it was mostly Europeans visiting Africa that brought it back to Europe and then Americans visiting Europe brought it back to the United States. Haiti was also one of the first countries (other than Africa) to become widely affected.

There is hope for a cure - scientist have learned that some people that are positive and have never developed AIDS and have never been on medication, have something very special about their DNA that allows them to remain what is referred to as "Undetectable". I have a friend that is considered undetectable and he is participating in a study. I am so hopeful that someday there will be either a cure or a vaccine.

Ok, it is not monkeys, but Apes. We are genetically closest to apes, so the virus could easily adapt to humans if it decided to jump to a new species (Gorilla->chimp->human). (which it did, or maybe we infected them?)
Anyway, here is a link to a site that explains it.

and NO, we do not have "a little bit of AIDS" in us. It is a virus that you must be exposed to to be infected by. It is true that the virus can lie "dormant", or barely causing symptoms in some people for many years. That may be where that rumor began. The virus is HIV, the collection of symptoms caused by the virus is AIDS.
Here is a really good link that helps explain that as well as prevention and myths.

No we don't have a little bit of AIDS or rather HIV in us if we did we would be immune to it. The HIV coming from monkeys is a theory. Monkeys do have a strain of HIV in them and that is how the theory started. I am not quite sure if it true or not though. There are some people how are immune to to HIV because there ancestors became immune to the Black Plague. So the people who have the immune strain of the Black Plague more than likely are immune to HIV. Google it and ou'll find your answers.

This is not true otherwise every person's body would not be capable of fighting diseases and would die very soon. HIV can only be transmitted and not created so that is why it is called a STD (a sexually transmitted disease). As long as you don't put yourself in high risks of getting the AIDS sympton, hiv, then you are OK. You can get it through unprotected or penetrative sex or share drug needles. You can't get it through casual contact. Just get your doctor to screen your blood if you are that worried. The latest HIV tests can show results in just thirty minutes.

LOL that's a load of crap.
Although some diseases did originate from animals (like syphillis from sheep and maybe AIDS from monkeys) the rest of what your friends told you is not true.

AIDS certainly is thought to have begun in monkeys but as to whether we all have it, that sounds unlikely. However, it does not stop safe sex being your best protection againbst contracting it.

feels like your uncle is making up his own data approximately HIV/AIDS. there is somewhat no thank you to tell who gave it to who. purely by using fact your uncle's spouse is extra stepped forward in her HIV does no longer propose that she have been given it first. Even the section approximately her surgeon asserting that her HIV will progression to AIDS in 3 years is confusing to have self belief. people who take antiretrol viral drugs are no longer anticipated to reinforce interior the sickness...this is why you're taking them, so your sickness does not improve. Your uncle won't might desire to take meds yet by using fact the virus isn't progressing as quickly in his physique as this is in hers. He can even have the gene that some people have that retains their virus from advancing. There are alot of scenerios for why she could be extra stepped forward than she is. i think of this is outrageous that your uncle is blaming anybody yet himself for his sickness. by potential of ways, people who're taking their meds exact will in all risk no longer die from aids, a minimum of no longer in this united states or presently. You uncle is an element of the priority with the stigma and the persevered unfold of HIV. show your self. you're on no account being properly knowledgeable on HIV out of your uncle.

That is incorrect. You have to contract HIV from some one who has through their bodily fluids.

However, we all do have flesh eating bacteria on our skin all the time. Doctors are not sure why some of it decides to eat the skin and the rest don't.
