Before you do this please speak to your doctor!

This is very important because you Do NOT take sleeping pills because they can be harmful when taken with other medication.

I make this assumption because if you have a heart problem, I assume that you are on perhaps several medications already.

Talk to your doctor before taking any sleeping aid.

Talk to a doctor. You could probably take liike, nightime advil or tylonol pm, but not actual sleeping pills, but i'm not a doctor.

Yes, if prescribed by your physician. Talk to him about your problem of sleeping...he should want you to get a full nights rest, so will likely prescribe something that won't interact with other meds you are on.
