Well it first started when I was pregnant with my youngest son (it's been about 1year or so) and they said I was one point away from having gentestial diabetes but I didn't think anything of it. Back in October I was attending a weight loss class and they had drawn my blood to run some tests and mine came back a 67 for sugar.(I didn't drank the nasty stuff that they gave me before, this was just a normal don't eat 10 hours before the test is done) I'm not sure what that excactly means. But my test did come back with a high count of something, not sure what the exact name is but they told me to lay off the carbs or I'll start having pacreas problems. My grandparents both had diabetes. I am overweight. I'm starting to have things happen to me after I drink a soda or eat candy. Some examples are fast heart rate, vomiting, light headed, dizzy, blurred vision and diareha. I don't really think anything of it but my husband wants me to get checked. So please help me with some answers. Thanks

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Well I cannot tell you anything specific but to ease your mind I would go ahead and be tested. Alot of people in my family are diabetic. The last time I was tested when I was pregnant and they said that I was going good (whew) Anyway those fairs and things don't have the right equipment to make a certain they can guess but like I said eariler you might want to go and get checked so you will know for certain.
Some of the "signs" you are having could just be due to stress or not getting enough of something in your system. Anyway My advice is to ease your own mind to go and get checked and if you do have it at least you will know instead of not knowing and doing something potentally life threathing and you will be able to breath easy. If you don't then you might have something else wrong with your body or nothing at all.

Gestational Diabetes can result in Diabetes later on in life. Normal blood sugars run 70 to 110 and at 67 it is near normal level especially after fasting for 10 hours. Best advice is to get checked, it does not sound like diabetes, which is thirsty all the time, having to urinate numerous time during the day.

The symptoms you describe are not generally associated with diabetes. The common things associated with diabetes include frequent need to urinate, excessive thirst, excessive hunger and increased blood glucose readings, specifically a high A1C level. Other signs ( usually found late) include neuropathy ( loss of feeling and sensation) to the extremities ( fingers and feet mostly)
blurred vision can occur if you have had it long enough to cause damage to the retinas.

Because both of your grandparents had diabetes, you are at a greater risk. Your heart rate is increased, you feel light headed and dizzy, and you have blurred vision - these are symptoms of diabetes. I would agree with your husband and recommend that you see a doctor to get checked

funny you haven't had weight loss as a symptom cos that and raging thirst thrush, light headed dizzy.my daughter was 32++ when she was diabetic and you have genetic factor as well.by the way if my daughter was to eat soda and candy she would get same as you cos she would be hyperglycemic!!and if you are diabetic you don't lay off the carbs you need to count them cos that's what gives you the energy to survive and not go hypo(low blood sugars)along with your insulin.was the thing they found called ketones cos this is when your body cant make use of the food you eat so it uses the fat stored in your body(hence the weight loss)but then you can go too far and have diabetic ketoacidosis which can kill you!!!the fact you had gestational diabetes points to the fact you could get diabetes.let us know how you get on.

Some of these signs of diabetes, also urinating a lot, thirsty, tired. Check with your doctor. You might pass out. Have your doctor check your urine for sugar, or glucose. My son had same symptoms no diarrhea through. Thats how we found out.
