she is only on water tablets and shortness of breath very severe.
Any suffers out there how do you cope with this. What meds do you use does this help with your breathing.

I HAVE COPD & I use an INHALER & take methylprednissolone
4 mg tab.It helps me after I excert or just by walking at a fast pace. Get mum to the doc and see if the doc can put her on
this med. INHAYLER IS COMBIVENT. GOOD LUCK & god

Does your Mum have a doctor??? Because she deserves better than amateur advice from people on the internet. Get her some decent care.

I have about the same thing
I have an inhaler, steriods, nebulizer and oxygen
You/she she cannot not get these w/o a script

she could see a lung specialist (a pulmonologist)...they might have her do inhalers, aerosols, or oxygen...you can buy a pulse oximeter to check her oxygen sat level on ebay or at a hospital supply place (might need an rx)..
