It's very possible indeed. A lung infection is usually pneumonia. That can be very serious but easily treated by antibiotics but you have to catch it early.

Bronchitis is another serious infection but I believe it's a virus. It can linger for months and you may need steroids.

Sinus infections, yes indeed. You need antibiotics. Your sinuses will ache like crazy, your eyes water and hurt at the sun as will your sinuses especially when you go out in cold air.

You need antibiotics for a sinus infection and you could also get strep throat which can travel down your throat into your stomach and even kill you if it runs rampid through your body.

If you have pneumonia you will likely find it hard to breathe, have shortness of breath and sweat and tire easily and have a fever sometimes too.

You could also have asthma especially if you have allergies...stuffy nose and hard to breathe and coughing a lot.

Go to webmd.com and you will find tons of stuff to read. Sinis and lung infections are generally caused by bacteria. The longer a bacterial infection goes untreated the more harm it can cause your body.

YES, you can have both at the same time. If your sinuses get infected, they can drain into your lungs causing bronchitis & pneumonia.

Pneumonia is a serious lung infection or inflammation.
You will have a cough & your breath will be short.
